Whether it’s a clear broth, creamy purée, chunky gumbo, or rib-sticking chowder, there’s a soup to suit every season and nearly every occasion. Plus, soup preparation provides essential culinary lessons, from flavor development to seasoning. In this class, brought to us by Culinary Institute of America graduate Chef Jeremiah, you’ll learn the fundamental techniques and characteristics of various soup categories. By the end of the day, you’ll realize just how versatile soups can be! We will have our soup, accompanied by homemade bread and a petite salad, for dinner following class.
Cost per person is $30 and we'll throw in the wine! Call 814-353-8407 to reserve your room and your spot in the dining room for the class. Maximum 16 people per class. Regular weekend rates apply. Class begins at 6:00pm.
